Hold a Google Slides Contest

Harness students' pre-Winter Break energy with a fun activity about using Google Slides!

When students are new to Google Slides they often are not familiar with the various features they can use to beautify their presentations.

Try teaching a brief lesson about Google Slides. Then have students work together to create a presentation in Slides about their plans over the break.

Make sure the presentation includes:

  • At least 2 different fonts
  • An image
  • A bulleted list
  • A colored arrow
  • Anything else you think they should include

When they are done, have students vote which presentation looks the most polished.
