eSpark in “How Apple wants to remake the classroom”

TechRepublic recently published an article by Nick Heath on how Apple’s VP of education, John Couch, views the current and future state of technology in education.

The insightful article touches on Couch’s early experiences at Apple as he recalls how “‘Steve Jobs saw technology as an amplifier for our intellect.’” Observing the learning experiences of his eldest son, Couch communicates the importance of using technology “to make learning engaging, collaborative and challenging” instead of using it “as a substitution… [which] doesn’t change the learning environment at all.”
